To commemorate this auspicious day (leaving to Spain), I wanted to share a little..hmmm.. ditty, familiar, perhaps to some of you (!) but particularly poignant and meaningful to me, as I embark on this am-I-totally-loca? adventure:
No, you can’t always get what you want (a camel)
No, you can’t always get what you want (an alpaca)
No, you can’t always get what you want (a donkey)
But if you try sometime, you just might find
You get what you need…

Well it turns out that the Universe and my angels
were keeping watch,
taking notes,
paying close attention,
because it would seem
they determined that, at least for the first ten days,
what I really needed to find was this:
A German guy named Ansgar (aka Oscar), two donkeys AND a dog.

And so, putting one foot in
front of the other,
the journey continues… stay tuned!

Bon voyage, Amit. This is great news! ๐ Keep us posted please!
Gracias chica! Will do ๐
Selamat jalan! How exciting! I’d take a German and two donkeys over a camel any day!
Maybe, but what if the camel came with an Italian, yoga-loving, world-traveling, Uno-playing chef?!
Now I understand, I went to your Camino project and listened to your message. My prayers will be with you all the way. What a blessing to have your small group to accompany you on you pilgrimage. It took me back seeing the provision.
A blessing indeed.. thnx for the prayers and wishes.
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.! No?
Si! Buen viaje sister!

Xo Oj
SI ๐ gracias, mi hermana!! xx
Safe travels and wishing you a great start there with Oscar! Two donkeys even better than one…
Sama sama ๐ That’s what I thought too, they can keep each other company.. and in line! xx
