This past week, the first of 2015, has brought with it monsoon-like downpours and flooding, dazzlingly bright sunshine and a new moon that lit up the path ahead of me while I walked down darkened streets.
Once in awhile the sunlit days were filled with billowing breezes – especially this past weekend when I spent many hours at home, doing research, writing and practicing yoga.
The winds made such a grand entrance and impression that I was compelled to play music that fit the scene. I called up Stravinsky, Bach’s Four Seasons and finally Christopher Cross; then I lay back to watch the drapes come alive.
Here it is in photo-snippets, the dance of the winds…
And for the grand finale…
Lovely series of fluttering curtains.
Thank you!
Love it. How many people would even stop to watch the dance of the drapes? I’d like to think I would…..
I’d like to think so 😉 The wonders of nature… By the way, that was my other working title, Dance of the Drapes!
Beautiful, simply beautiful! Happy New Year, Amit. Remember to have magic in your life all throughout this new year! ~ Arlène
Thanks so much Arlène! Wishing you beauty and magic in yours as well.
This is such a wonderful example of simply being in the moment and enjoying. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for your comment Mary! Yes, I completely and utterly “in the moment” 😉
That’s one great argument for installing draperies!
😉
How lovely! Thanks for sharing this magic moment 🙂
My pleasure Wendy!
