Visitors’ Day

Three times a week, between 12-3, hordes of relatives, friends, school buddies, descend on the grounds of Emergency during visiting hours. The wards come alive with the sounds of laughter, a chanting monk, babies crying, mothers swatting at their children, masked high-school students huddled around an injured friend. Here, some images from the most recent visitors’ day.
